If you are interested in this sweet boy, the first step is to fill out an application at http://ffosk9rescue.org/adoption-application. Sweet Barkley, who is 16 lbs and thought to be a large Yorkie or a normal sized Silky Terrier, was found by a kindly family wandering around in the country by their home . He had been seen off and on for weeks, before they brought him to us. Covered with fleas and ticks and matted to the skin in many areas, he is a friendly little boy and did well with being cleaned up. He loves everyone he meets, but is a bit fearful of other dogs so introduction needs to be done slowly and with patience, especially if they ... (Read More)are a little aggressive towards him. He will warm up after just a little time. He is house trained and will scratch on the door when he needs to go out and learned the doggie door at his foster home. He has been neutered, brought UTD on shots, is heart worm negative and on preventatives.. His adoption donation is $200, we are a 501(c)(3) so all donations are tax deductible.
