Silky Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Most Cats
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Prince would love to be the king of his own castle! Are you looking for a terrier/chi mix? Would you enjoy the company of a small, affectionate, and gentle companion? Prince is 5 years old and weighs in at 9 pounds. He is a bright, medium energy fellow who loves to be with his people. He would do best in a home with other small dogs, since he does like to be the boss and must be reminded that he's not 'top dog'! He responds well to correction, which is fabulous. He's learning sit, and he will potty on command. Foster mom says he's nearly house trained, he's crate trained, and he walks well on his leash. He is crated when the family is not ... (Read More)home, and he does well in his crate. He does well with the pet birds in the home, and foster mom thinks that he would be fine with cats. He hasn't lived with children, but he would probably be okay with older children. He would also do very well as a solo dog. He is very attached to his person and enjoys playing and cuddling with that person, so as long as he had good human company, he would probably be very happy! He isn't loud or nippy, those puppy ways are long behind him. He's very gentle taking his treats, and his favorite thing to do is to cuddle with his people !
